Greetings from my family. We as a family have been doing well by God’s grace. God has sustained us and is helping us to grow in Him. This month, we had a Greek Exegesis class on Galatians. It was helpful to brush up on my Greek. The professor also taught all of us how to use the Logos software- which was very helpful and practical.

We also had a youth camp at the church from April 7 – 28, 2019. We had around 90 young people attending the camp aged between the ages of 15 to 25. I helped in the registration of the campers. I also had the privilege to teach three days on the doctrine of the Word of God, God’s providence, and prayer. I have been studying these topics, so it was good to be able to teach them to the children. During this time, those who are staying at the center took morning devotions from 1 and 2 Thessalonians. I was able to help some in their preparation of these devotions. Overall, it was a fruitful camp as many of the young people were able to clearly hear the Gospel again and again during their stay. I was able to talk to some of the young people, and they were very happy that they could learn these things from the Bible. They said, that they now have a better understanding of the Gospel.

On the last Friday of every month, pastors from different churches throughout the city meet together for fellowship. They have been going through the book Church Membership. I was part of the meeting this month, which discussed the chapter on church discipline. It was good to hear from the different pastors how they are practicing church discipline in their local churches, and the difficulties they face in their local context. It was a good experience for me to be part of this meeting and to learn from the discussions.

Pray for us as a family as we will be going to Bangalore for a few days. Pray for my parents and extended family, as they are all still Hindus. Pray that the gospel will have saving effects. Pray that as I visit my friends, and the church in Bangalore, that I might influence them for the Gospel.

In Christ,
