HeartCry Missionary, Luis Ramirez, met with two local pastors near Tokyo today to discuss how to further penetrate the spiritual darkness with the light of the gospel among the island nation of Japan. Japan has “24 entire cities and 595 towns and villages in which there is not a single Evangelical church. Even within the minimal professing Evangelical population of about 0.5 percent, only about half of these people attend church weekly.”

Japan desperately needs the gospel to be proclaimed with power and clarity, for biblical churches to be established, and existing pastors to receive scriptural teaching and training. Please join us and pray that God will move graciously to open doors and hearts for the gospel in this nation. Also, for God to give HeartCry more opportunities to labor and partner with the indigenous churches. Too, that more biblical resources will be translated into Japanese and published and distributed throughout the country.
