Richard Friesen is a pastor of Evangelical Baptist Christ Church in Germany. He received his ministerial training from the European Bible Training Center (EBTC) from 2016-2018 in Zurich, Switzerland. He describes his ministry as a responsibility “to shepherd the flock of God that He has entrusted to me. In particular, by preaching God’s Word to them Sunday after Sunday so that they grow into mature and adult Christians. But also through individual conversations, and through pastoral care by visiting them at home. In addition, I regularly try to go out on the streets with some of the brothers and evangelize people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.” Richard began partnering with HeartCry in 2023, but has been in ministry since 2014. He and his wife, Rebecca, have been married since 2015.
