Brothers and sisters, this month God has permitted me to continue preaching in the streets and passing out tracts. Though it is difficult for me to preach in the streets, the Lord is strengthening me to do it and afterwards I am very satisfied and joyful for the opportunity to preach. There is great joy in seeing that my brothers and sisters, along with my wife, are able to have conversations with the people in the city plazas. We truly hope in the Lord that he would accomplish His work of salvation in the people with whom we speak.

On the other hand, as a church we are continuing to study Philippians through expository preaching. I have really been learning a lot about how to rest in Christ, and there truly are great spiritual riches that are gained through studying and preaching expositionally. I can see that the brothers are very interested in the themes that we have studied, since some of them, if they miss a Sunday, have asked me personally to tell them what was taught the week they missed. That gives me great joy, hearing that the brothers and sisters are interested in the sermons and that they want to know God more. It is my prayer that they can apply the Scriptures to their lives.

With regard to our church services, thanks be to God, the believers, and especially those that are new in the faith, are showing interest in consistently participating in the meetings. Each Sunday they are always attending and there are also new people that are visiting. One family in particular that had been part of a hyper-charismatic church before, has now been attending every week for a month. There is also a young lady and an older couple that are very interested in listening to the preaching of the Gospel.

This month a brother visited us from the United States and we preached the Gospel in the streets, as well as in the church three evenings in a row. It was encouraging for our church, and as they fought the cold weather, the brothers and sisters attended the evening meetings. There were also several visitors who heard the Word of God.
