Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Greetings in the Name of Christ our Lord. What a wonderful privilege we have in Christ Jesus, knowing that in Him we have received all spiritual blessings. This is the greatest joy in my life, and helps me to walk in Him, and serve His people. The Lord is faithful, and I desire to share His faithfulness in what He has done in Nepal the last couple of months in my life and ministry.
Local Church:
I have been preaching through the books of Romans. The Book of Roman is both doctrinal and missional. I am enjoying it. Through this series of sermons, we are going deeper and deeper into the truth of God’s Word, which has had a great affect on my personal life as well. Chapter 10 & 11 are very tough chapters for me, but I am enjoying them. We have been amazed as we see God’s sovereign plan to save both Jews and Gentiles, as well as the responsibility of the Church to share the Gospel to the lost world. Please continue pray for me- that I can see the deep truths from this book and teach them to the local people. Pray that they may grow in their understanding of this glorious gospel. In addition to this, please pray for the upcoming class for our interns. I am about to lead them through a class on Biblical Counseling.
Ministry:
On June 24th & 25th, we organized a training day on Ecclesiology. I was able to teach five sessions on: I) Gospel II) Spiritual Blessings In Christ III) Baptism Iv) Church Membership & Their Roles. V) Q & A Session. I started from the gospel, because the Gospel is the very foundation that these truths rest on. It was a wonderful and blessed time for me to teach and to have fellowship with our brothers and sisters. All of the HeartCry men attended, along with their wives, children, the interns in the church, and other believers throughout the area.
We praise the Lord for the endurance He gave to us. This is a very hot time of year, but everyone sat through the 7 hours of teaching and 2 hours of Q and A. We had a very blessed time to learn the Word of God together. All of the men were very encouraged by the truths they heard. At the end of the training, we were able to distribute (to all the participants) the 9Marks book,
“ The Gospel”
along with other 9Marks books in the Nepali language. We praise God for these biblical books in our own language. This is a wonderful blessing for the people of Nepal. Many thanks to HeartCry for supporting the translation and printing cost of these books. We trust these books will be very helpful for our people to grow biblically and in ministry.
Lastly, praise God for building His church in this part of the world. Your prayers and support has been a tremendous help to advance the kingdom of God. I do appreciate your prayers and support and the partnering together for the Gospel work. All glory to God Alone!
