First of all, I want to give God thanks for those he has used to sustain us in the most difficult moments through which we have had to pass. My wife was very sick and needed an operation, and thankfully, the Lord provided and she was able to receive the necessary surgery. We do not only give thanks to God for His material provision, but also for the way He manifested His presence and goodness through many brothers and sisters that were concerned and ready to help with whatever we needed. Many of them called us throughout the duration of her sickness to see how we were doing and to remind us that they were praying for us.

Another way in which the Lord revealed Himself to us in this time was that, despite the trials we were experiencing, He used us throughout those 15 days that my wife was in the hospital to proclaim the Gospel to the other patients and their families. In fact, having seen the need of the patients and their families to be encouraged and to hear the Word of salvation, and seeing how the Lord used us in those two weeks that we were there, my wife and I have decided to continue visiting the hospital on a regular basis. Brothers and sisters, I want you to know that despite the circumstances through which we have had to pass, we feel very happy and encouraged to see that we are being used by the Lord.

My wife’s operation was a success, and she is recovering well. We are very thankful to the Lord for His protection and constant surveillance, and for all the brothers and sisters He used to help us remember His presence in this time. We are also thankful that He uses us no matter what our circumstances might be.
