Things are going well with us here. Yesterday, I went to an open air market with an evangelist friend of mine who was visiting from the city of Cuenca, and we had the opportunity to preach in the open air to a number of people who were gathered there. The Lord blessed that time, as several came up to us afterwards to engage in conversation and to receive some literature that we had with us.
Most of the people with whom we spoke were from a gypsy background– you may know that in Spain, a number of gypsies are members of Pentecostal churches (“las iglesias de Phildelphia”) and identify themselves as evangelicals. They thanked us for preaching the Word in the open air and encouraged us to come back soon; a few even expressed a desire to come visit our church! I was encouraged to go back to the same market in the near future, Lord willing.
