Diana has been part of a group of young women that my wife has been meeting with for discipleship. She came to Antioch Baptist Church specifically seeking membership. Diana had been looking for a Bible-teaching church in Blantyre and finally discovered us. She has visited for some time and finally approached me for membership. We baptized her because she had not been scripturally baptized. Diana works for Young Life Ministries here in Blantyre.
Josephine is a student at the Catholic University where our church has been heavily involved in evangelism. Josephine came to the Lord through a series of humbling events in her life. She heard the gospel several times during the meetings and eventually the Lord brought her to repentance. It was a joy to see both these ladies get baptized and welcomed into membership.
New Members Through HeartCry Connection
In the past 4 months, our church has connected with two believers who were looking for a Bible-teaching church in Blantyre. One of them, Lawrence, has been welcomed into membership. The other is a young lady named Zaithwa. These two people found us through the HeartCry website. Both Zaithwa and Lawrence were listening to Paul Washer’s sermons from their website. One thing led to another until they found our profile on the HeartCry website. Zaithwa is a medical student in Blantyre and Lawrence has just returned from China where he was studying for his Masters degree.
