HeartCry missionary, Iliya Hlushchak, continues to serve in Tcernovtsy, Ukraine.  In a recent update he shares some of the highlights of what the Lord is doing in his field of outreach:

“We have recently started having meetings for families under 50. We have prepared a series of lessons and we meet once a month. We also invite families from other churches, who have more experience in this field. Almost all the families under 50 from our church have attended these meetings so far. I am the leader of this group. Please pray for the Christian families that they would be protected against the attacks of the evil one.

I visited the churches in Bahrinesti and Kamenka, where I preached the Word of God. I met a relative in Kamenka that I hadn’t seen for about 10 years. He invited me to his place and I had a wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel with him. Then he invited me again and I preached the Word of God to him and his wife again. We have a good relationship now and they are open to the Word of God. Please pray for them.

We have found another disabled people’s home in the village of Stanivti, Kitsmani County. There are about 200 patients living there. The deacon visited this place and there are open doors for us there.”
