Lately, I had a very hard time focusing in general, and also in Bible reading and in prayer. This might be a side effect of the treatment which is very aggressive. I have been reading through the gospel of Matthew, and it is so refreshing to see Jesus again, His love, care, mercy, holiness, love for the Father. His glory and His work!

As the treatment is very hard on the body, I have many days when I feel very sick and this becomes overwhelming and discouraging at times, as I almost feel disabled. But the Lord showed His faithfulness and care so many times in a wonderful way! I need to always remember that and not be overcome by worry.

I am very grateful to the Lord for allowing me to go to the States and being able to see doctors there and start a Lyme treatment. I saw His faithfulness and loving kindness towards me in so many ways! I am thankful that this doctor is willing to treat me long distance, as the treatment will be long term. There was also perfect timing as the doctor wanted me to be in the States while he was gradually introducing and increasing the medication dosage, in order to see how I tolerated different medicines and be able to adjust the dosage if necessary. He did that gradually over 2 and a half months, and he introduced the last new medicine just a week before I left!
