I have recently launched a new challenge at church which consists of reading the Bible together, one chapter per day. The challenge is to find Christ in the reading, connecting every chapter to the person of Christ. This challenge has led to some pleasing results since the brothers and sisters are learning together and are very thankful to share this time of reading each week.

We also continue with the discipleship of men at the church. I have been teaching these men practical biblical hermeneutics with the goal of helping them to lead their families in times of family devotion. Please pray for these men who need to grow in leading their homes correctly.

This past month our prayer group has continued learning how to pray with the Bible. This method of praying has been of great benefit because it forces you to read the Bible and to think about yourself and others and their diverse needs.
