Shalom Reformed Baptist Church is the newest church plant in Zambia for Kabwata Baptist Church. Located in Northern Province, Shalom Baptist is led by Pastor Joshua Lungu. Without any gimmicks, but through persistent evangelism and faithful preaching, the church held three baptism services in 2017 and saw six people baptized. Joshua writes:
“We are excited to report that three more people were baptised in 2017 – that is Franciscah, Nelson, and Joshua. It was such a touching moment to see what God is doing in the lives of people, drawing them to Himself. It is worth mentioning that Nelson was the first person to come to our church and it brings much excitement and joy to finally see him get baptised. Praise and glory to God! This brings the number of those baptised into the church to six.”
