Joe Baptism Feature

Certainly there is an abundance of news around the world that grieves us. Yet, mixed with reports of persecuted and suffering saints, there are bright moments and reasons for rejoicing. Recently, I have received photo after photo of baptisms across the continent of Africa. I pray that these photographic testimonies of Christ’s saving power will encourage your soul today, and move you to pray for these faithful pastors working to rescue the perishing.

In the feature image above, Pastor Joe Shoko baptized a new member into the church in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Emmanuel Baptism

Sam Oluoch’s co-elder, Emmanuel, had the privilege of baptizing four new believers in Nairobi, Kenya.

Kennedy Baptism

In the photo above, Pastor Kennedy Kawambale of Lusaka, Zambia celebrated a break in Covid lockdowns with two baptisms back in April. On August 1st, he baptized four more!

The nations of the earth may rage, but Christ is always busy building His church. Praise His Name!
