Mosie Marian, a Gypsy brother who provides a measure of oversight for our HeartCry Gypsy missionaries, continues to battle health issues. In his recent report, he says, “I’ve seen family life in a new way since I am sick. Please pray for my health. My medical tests results are not very good, even if I am on a very strict treatment.”
In the midst of multiple ministries, which include pastoring and benevolent services, our brother relates the sad story of a young boy:
I’ve met a 12-year-old boy named Armando. His parents abandoned him in an orphanage, but his grandparents took him home and raised him. I took this boy with me and I found out he was always carrying a little knife with him in order to protect himself. This is what he had learned in the orphanage. His mother abandoned him when she remarried. He was sad because none of his parents wanted to have a relationship with him. He felt lonely. I prayed for him and invited him to attend our school, as he wasn’t attending any school. Armando can’t read or write. He is my friend now and he enjoys attending the school.
Don is serving as the HeartCry Coordinator for Eastern Europe. As an itinerant evangelist, his pulpit ministry is directed toward preaching on the inner life of the believer and the spiritual need of the lost. With HeartCry, his ministry includes organizing Bible conferences and corresponding with the HeartCry missionaries in Europe. He and his lovely wife Cindy live in Tuscumbia, AL.
