Testimony of Conversion

It was the beginning of 1998 (I was 18 years old), more exactly in the month of February. A friend of several years who was already attending a church in the city invited me one Sunday to a regular worship service at that church.

That first time was a very different and shocking experience for me because I was born in an atheist and materialistic home with no talk of God or His Word.

With that family background coming to the Christian assembly and seeing the fellowship among the brethren in the faith before and after worship, the praises that were the beloved hymns of old, and being exposed for the FIRST TIME to the reading and then an exposition of Scripture left a deep and positive imprint on me that endures to this day.

I continued to attend services, and in that same year, the Lord saved me. I cannot define an exact moment for my conversion, but without a doubt, it was in 1998.

At that time, I was trained in an intensive course for missionaries, and from that moment, I served as a missionary without salary or financial help for three years in house churches, missions, or chapels as they are called in our context. Then I went to the baptist seminary.

I graduated in 2007, and from there until today, I have served in different churches and missions. God has helped me organize two other live churches, glorifying God and serving in the community where they are located.

Call to Ministry

I am now busy arduously organizing a biblical church. There have been many setbacks and trials. Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the measures our government took, we could not congregate for a while.

This makes missionary work very difficult and unstable. Therefore, we ask for the prayerful support of the brethren for the missionary work and for our country.

I bid you farewell in the unchanging love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and peace!
