Testimony of Conversion

My younger years were consumed with religion. I always participated in church events but had no conversion whatsoever. Maybe it was because the churches I went to as a boy were cultish in nature.

I hopped from one denomination to the next, and whenever I saw that a church didn’t follow the Bible as close as possible, I would detach myself.

But I saw a booklet titled “TULIP,” and found that what I was lacking was the knowledge of grace. This was the real starting point of my spiritual journey.

I would come to be regenerated by the Spirit.

Call to Ministry

The Lord imbued my heart with a desire to study in a Bible school. My thoughts weren’t really turned towards becoming a pastor. I just wanted to be equipped with biblical knowledge so that I could go from house to house, share the Gospel, and answer any objection that arose.

I had a heart for the salvation of those I met.

Thus, when I found out that Valley View Baptist Church was sending out missionaries, I readily accepted the offer when I was approached by Pastor Manny Avena.

I have a heart for mission work because I am enjoying myself despite the numerous difficulties that surround me.
