I am Ann Wambua, saved in the year 1991 by the grace of God back, to whom I am grateful for His mercies and for keeping me near Him up to this point. Having repented of my sins, I thank God for forgiving my sins.

I was born into a family that believed only in traditions. My parents were very involved in many cultural practices, to the point of even consulting witch doctors for medical help.

When I was seventeen years old, I attended an open-air meeting where the word of God was preached. The preacher explained that God would judge all sinners and condemn them to eternal fire. I was very much moved and convinced by his words. After the sermon, I went forward, being carried by something I could not explain. At that time I repented of all my sins, and I believed wholly in Christ.

I was still only a young girl in a family with no other Christians. It is evident that God gave me much grace during this time to stand the challenges of abuse, mistreatment, and neglect I suffered because of my refusal to participate in worldly practices. God upheld me graciously to stand firm in the face of these trials from my family, and He reassured me of the eternal life I have in Him. From the day that I committed my life to Christ until now, I trust only in the merits of Christ for my salvation to the end.
