Dear friends and supporters, I would love to give my best regards and love to you, friends and supporters of HeartCry. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. May God pour his grace, care, and love on all of you in 2016.

I am thankful to God that through another month He has kept us safely in His loving hands. All members in my family have been kept safe and healthy. My son is temporarily done with the schedule of his first semester in college. Thus he was able to come home to celebrate Christmas with us. The new environment away at school taught him valuable lessons, and I am glad that it does not goes against the Christian values that he always believed in. It helped him realize how confused is this world is nowadays, which urged him to use God’s Words to keep him away from those ideas. This new environment helped him to perceiving God’s work in his life. I do believe that was a wise choice. It made me happy to see this young man growing up both physically and spiritually. However, he is boy with many passions, and they could easily become obsession, which choke the words in him. Every day I pray to God keep him on the righteous path. He still need to learn and work more to be a man following God’s example, and alternatively become another example for this world. Likewise, I pray for my younger son. The desires from this world are hardening his heart and faith for God. I know I could not discipline him on my own, but need God’s word and prayers. I pray to God that He will make me more patient to help him. Please remember to pray for this boy also, friends and supporters, and for me as a leader of God’s church and this family.

I spent most of this month preparing for the Christmas night service. That is always the most important day in the whole year to me. In this month I also collaborated with Pastor T. to visit some neighbors who are non-believers in the local area. They are the relatives of some members in my church. We invited them to the Christmas night service. The service was blessed with the attendance of many fellow brothers and sisters from other churches, and our friends and neighbors who are non-believers. And there were also many young children at the night. We had Pastor K., our close friend, sharing the message from Gospel. In the end of the speech, he called for those attending to believe Jesus Christ as their Savior. At first I thought we would end the night without any interested. But thanks to God, our wait was not in vain. There were 4 people that came to us at that night and want to know more of the gospel. That was beyond our expectation. That is the joy for all of us. It was just something really special for us. We ended the night, successfully, with the dinner for everyone. I was totally exhausted, but completely filled by joy.

Above are the most memorable activities in the December. God gave us a wonderful way to end this year. But I know I still have things to do. The new believers still need our help to truly know God, and to live a new life as a Christian. There will be a lot of labor. But we accept it happily. God had blessed us so much this year. To end the report, I would love to express my best gratefulness to you, all friends and supporters from HeartCry. We had witnessed so much changes since we had chance to be a partner with you in God’s missionary. Hopefully, we will continue to do our best in another new year. We wish God’s love and all the greatest things to come to you in 2017.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Faithfully yours, Pastor H.
