Adam The King’s Messenger

In 2013, HeartCry donated “El Chasqui del Rey” (The King’s Messenger) to missionaries Micah Tuttle and Jairo Sangama who labor in Peru’s jungle. In this short clip from a recent trip up the Huallaga River, Micah expresses his thankfulness once again for those who made the gift possible and shares how the boat continues to be used for ministry throughout the villages that lie along the river. By God’s grace, the boat has been used to reach more people with the Gospel and to train up faithful men for the work of the ministry. Please continue to pray for the work in the jungle, as there remains a seemingly endless need for more laborers to care for and shepherd the churches through the jungle region. The following is a short email Micah recently sent:

Just got back from another great trip with the boat. Wanted to say “thanks” again. As we were cruising along I was thinking of what a huge blessing this boat is to us! The Chasqui enabled me to take 16 brothers up river last week and spend a lot of time investing in them as we preached the gospel and did what we could to make Christ’s name great in this part of the world! I have attached a “thank you video”. Please see thetuttletribe.blogspot.com for more details about the trip. Once again, you guys are a huge encouragement to our family. Thank you for all you do in the Lord’s work.
