The following is Sorin Prodan’s January report.  We rejoice in what the Lord continues to do through our brother:

I shall praise the Lord all my days for His great mercy! As days go on and on, I find myself being more and more moved by God’s great love. We see that in all we experience both in our family, and ministry.

Our new baby is doing well. We went through some fears, as he had some issues with his head position, and his right leg, but the Lord heard our prayers, and things are much better. I am thankful for my family (my wife, and my three sons). I am rich beyond words!

January was a fruitful month. We continue to meet with our church in a different facility, as we are waiting to move into the new building. We have not finished yet all the work inside, and in the couryard, so that we start the procedure of getting the final approvals. So, please pray that things will move faster, and we will be able to see the project done, and get the authorisation to start the church meetings in this new facility. It is such a great blessing to see how the Lord placed us in the heart of the city of Brasov, where everybody knows this place. All we need to do is just go out the building and share to people. This is exactly what we did weekly, and the Lord continues to open doors for proclaiming the glorious Gospel to the lost.

The first week of January was set aside for prayer. We met with more churches for corporate prayer every evening in different locations. It is a good experience that works more unity among the believers. At the same time, we held a meeting with more pastors from our city for praying together, and planning some events for this year. We think the Lord wants to start a Christian school in the city, and that is a topic now that is considered as a key project for this year.

I had the ooportunity to witness to more people, one being my cousin Cristi, and his friend Florin. We spent a few days together for some family things, and I used this opportunity to share them the Gospel. I also share to Mr. Nicolae who hosted me for two nights. He was more open to understand the message of the Bible, and I pray the Spirit of God will move, and save him.

I also thank God for being mercifyl in bringing some clear resolutions to a conflict between some fellow workers. I had to mediate this conflict, and give some directions, and I am grateful for being able to understand some roots of this conflict. Pray now for heling the wounds that were left as the conflict went much longer than it should.

Continue to pray for the spread of the Gospel in our country. There is much turmoil on the political arena, as the government attempts to control the justice system, and submit it to their own interests. We live such hard days, when the truth is not cherished. The people of God is the light of God in the midst of such thick darkness. We pray that the glory of Christ will be made more visible as we preach the Word of God to this generation.
