Emanuel reports this month
At the beginning of this month, I was able to spend time with my family and to rest. We visited my wife’s family and the church in Valenii de Munte and we rejoiced in the presence of the Lord. Starting with January 8th, a brother and I put the tiles in the church building. We worked hard for ten days, but then we were satisfied to see the results. Then we worked on the stairs.
The Lord gave me the opportunity to share the Gospel with several people this month. For instance, I talked to a young man. He was born in a Christian family and attends the church, but the Spirit of the Lord enabled me to understand that he hadn’t been born again, so I shared the Gospel with him.
I managed to talk to a Christian family that lives in our neighborhood, with the purpose of starting a new mission point there.
One of my brothers got sick this month and he was taken to the hospital in Brasov. Brother Sorin and I visited him and prayed for him. The Lord searched his heart and he told me that, no matter what happened to him, his greatest desire was to receive God’s forgiveness and to be with Him in heaven. The Lord has allowed this trial in his life in order to work in his heart and to set him free from the evil one’s bondage. He even had to undergo surgery. The Lord is so wonderful! When we are going through trials, we can feel His love better than at any other moment of our life.
Through God’s will, I went to Firenze ad Prato for a weekend. I was so happy to see God’s ministry in Firenze going on. Brother Lucian is in charge of the ministry there and he is doing a great job. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same thing about the ministry in Prato, which is actually stagnating. The believers in Firenze are working, so they can’t get too much involved in the ministry in Prato. I met with brother Luigi and Francesco and they prayed that the Lord would do something about it. I encouraged them to go to the Brazilian church for now.
Don is serving as the HeartCry Coordinator for Eastern Europe. As an itinerant evangelist, his pulpit ministry is directed toward preaching on the inner life of the believer and the spiritual need of the lost.
