We would appreciate prayer for Sorin and Trish Prodan. A few weeks ago, their second son, Lucas, wrapped his small hand around a hair curling iron and sustained second to third degree burns. After rushing him to a local hospital they were informed that the facility did not have the proper medical resources to treat him. The Prodans then rushed him to a state hospital for help.
Once arriving at the medical facility they grew very concerned over the uncleanness of the environment and the lack of professionalism of the personnel who refused to provide any info as to what they were giving young Lucas. Furthermore, the nurse that was designated to administer the I. V. did not seem to know how to do the procedure which resulted in more duress on the young boy and his mother. Trish soon discovered that there son was receiving four different antibiotics. Unfortunately, the experience worsened over the next few days as young Lucas picked up two viruses while in the hospital.
Sorin has asked us to pray for his little son’s healing and Trish’s emotional being. Also, pray that the Lord will lead them to a competent plastic surgeon who can properly treat Lucas’s hand.
