Please continue to pray for Ruxi Vandici’s health. The following is the latest on her physical condition:
I thank the Lord for opening the door to see the Lyme specialist and starting a treatment for Lyme. Please pray that the Lord would give the doctor wisdom in prescribing the following treatments and that they would work. Please also pray for my trip back home at the end of August, that I would have enough strength for that, and also for not having problems at the customs with getting the medication into Romania.
I am very thankful to the Lord as a month ago He helped me see a Lyme specialist from the state of Maine. It really was a miracle as this doctor was booked solid until September and he would not take new patients until then. My friend’s husband had been bitten by a tick and the doctor had to see him, so the doctor agreed to see me on his appointment as well. It did not seem though that I would make it to that appointment, as a week before I was not finished with the dermatologist. But just a few days before the appointment the dermatology office announced that they were finished with me, so I could travel to Maine to see the Lyme doctor. He confirmed that I had Chronic Lyme and I immediately started the treatment, which he said would last between a year to four years. I will slowly increase the dosage each week, and around mid August I will be on full treatment. Then the doctor will see how my symptoms evolved and my blood work and determine the following three months of treatment. That will be right before I leave for Romania at the end of August, so, Lord willing, I will be able to take back with me the next three months’ medication. The following treatments will be shipped, so please pray that there will be no problems at the customs with getting my treatment into Romania. I am very thankful to the Lord for being able to see this doctor and start this treatment! I am also very thankful to HeartCry for covering the financial expenses and making this possible!
