Pavel Purcaci serves with Pastor Igor Serement and the Philadelphia Church team. His primary ministry is working with the young people in Anenii Noi, Moldova. In this month’s report he shares about an student conference that was coordinated with Operation Mobilization:
“God blessed us with the opportunity of organizing another event for young people along with OM Organization.
The purpose of this event was to encourage the young people to get involved in missions. Eighteen young people from different countries who are working with the OM Organization visited us on this occasion. This event was attended by about 40 young people from our town and the surrounding villages, as we wanted to have a regional meeting. Through different activities, the young people from other countries encouraged our young people to dedicate themselves to missions and to take the Gospel to all creation. I believe that this was an important event in which we could help the young people realize that there were many ethnic groups in world that havn’t heard the Gospel and don’t have the Bible in their own language.
Besides these major events, the Lord helped me with evangelistic and pastoral visits. I organized the social ministry of the church, took the young boys to a boys’ meeting, and attended a meeting for couples on Family Day. I led the youth ministry in our church and in Hirbovat, our mission point (the sister in charge of this ministry is on maternity leave). I also attended the national conference for the youth leaders (the conference theme was discipling the young people); I prepared sermons, led Bible study meetings and was also involved in other activities in which the Lord blessed our ministry. I give Him glory and honor for all these things!”
Don is serving as the HeartCry Coordinator for Eastern Europe. As an itinerant evangelist, his pulpit ministry is directed toward preaching on the inner life of the believer and the spiritual need of the lost. With HeartCry, his ministry includes organizing Bible conferences and corresponding with the HeartCry missionaries in Europe. He and his lovely wife Cindy live in Tuscumbia, AL.
