Danut Opris serves on a team in Dragonesti Olt, Romania.  He shares his gospel labors this month:

A brother from our church and I visited a lady who was open to God’s Word. She said she would come to church when she could. I also talked to a man in the park and on the phone. I explained to him the danger of living in sin. He keeps calling me, as a friend, but many times I take the discussion further to the Gospel.

This month we had a small group meeting with two believers and two non-believers who are their relatives. We sang and prayed and the non-believers were urged to turn to the Lord. We also encouraged them to attend the church. One of the believers shared her conversion experience and the other shared how the Lord has intervened in her life at a certain moment.

There is an old man in Draganesti who expressed his appreciation for several believers from our church, although he stil avoids hearing the Gospel, saying that he doesn’t want to change his religion. One day, a brother and I sought him and spoked to him about 10-15 minutes.

A young lady had been excluded from the church several months ago because she had a non-Christian boyfriend. Brother George Serban and I talked to her several times and last week she said she wanted to come back to the church. We keep praying for her to prove her repentance. Brother George and I also visited a teenager who is a church member. We assumed the responsibility of helping him through this difficult period in his life. He indulged in several sins and quit attending the church. When we talked to him, he admitted he lived in sin and was sorry, but then we didn’t see a change in his life. This month he said he wanted to repent and be reinstated in the church. But we want to see real repentance in his life first.
