Thank you for your prayers and support. I rejoice to tell you that on October the 18th, my wife delivered our baby boy, weighing 7lbs and 12 ounces. With the need for reformation in our land in mind, we named him Ezra. Both my wife and baby are doing well.

I am so thankful for the grace of God. If it were not for Christ who could I lean upon in times of trouble? I would be left in hopelessness and despair. Praise be to God, that He is our good Shepherd who laid down His life for us, and that we can cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. To be transparent, sometimes there are a lot of different battles and trials we face; whether it’s persecution from without or trials from within. Then other times, as it was for me in the past month, there are battles within our own selves that we have to deal with. I felt so discouraged with so many things that it just really brought me down and robbed me of my joy. In short, I spent too much time dwelling upon myself, my own shortcomings, and failures in life and ministry. I was feeling so anxious about the responsibility of pastoring a church that it really brought my spirit down in discouragement and despair. But a wonderful brother in the Lord, Dave Storey, noticed something was wrong and talked to me. He encouraged me in the Lord and exhorted me to focus on Christ. I am so thankful for the body of Christ! Not only to worship the Lord together, and for the help of carrying one another burdens.

In addition, please pray for a man in Blackville named David. Pray that he would come to Christ. Dave and I have been witnessing to him and we’ve been having a lot of good conversations about the Gospel with him. He has been coming out to the church on Sundays nearly every week now. I believe he is so close to surrendering to Christ. Pray that God would finish the work in his heart. Please continue praying for us that God would build His church here in Canada.
