We believe that a strong church is based on strong families. We wish to have such families in our church, so we decided to have a Bible study with two couples that got married this summer. We are teaching them now, hoping that they will be able to teach others after a while. We meet every Saturday to approach different subjects on family life. Ani has a separate meeting with the girls and I have a meeting with their husbands. I can see great potential in these two families. First of all, I am glad to see that these are healthy families and they will be able to raise healthy children and they will also set a good example for others.

We’ve met Alin and Diana a long time ago. They received a great gift from God – a wonderful child. Alin is a policeman in Sfantu Gheorghe and the Lord is putting His Word into his heart. Alin is open to the Gospel message and his heart seems to be on good soil for the Gospel seed. We visited them in Sfantu Gheorghe and encouraged them to be faithful to the Bible and grow in understanding the Lord’s grace. Diana was influenced by the Jehovah’s witnesses for nine years, but the Lord took her out of that influence. She still has some misconceptions, but she is growing in her understanding of Jesus Christ, the image of the unseen God.

Mihai and Adina have been blessed with Filip, their third child. They lived in Canada for seven years, but Mihai faced some health issues there and he cried to God and sought Him with all his heart. Mihai turned to God during those difficult moments and then Adina did the same. The Lord guided them back to Romania, but Adina’s family was against their new faith. Mihai’s mother is open to the Gospel, but his father is an alcoholic and is also a violent person. The situation is quite difficult for Mihai and Adina, as they are living in their parents’ apartment. We were glad to welcome Mihai’s mother and Adina’s mother and sister in our church. Adina’s brother-in-law studied Orthodox Theology in Brasov, but he is disappointed with religion. He rejected the faith and embraced the atheism.
