Constantin Ghioanca, our Heartcry missionary who lives in Bucharest serves the Adonai faith family as their shepherd. Constantin, or Costel, is valuable asset to our outreach in Eastern Europe as he assist Sorin in evangelistic work and translation when needed.  Costel sent us this report last week:

“I am very happy to let you know that this month we welcomed four new members. Two of them are husband and wife. They have attended our church for about one year, and now they have decided that Adonai church is the place where they should be. They came together with their daughter, who is 18, and she is not a believer yet. We pray for her salvation as well. I would add also that this new family who became part of our church are the oldest among us. We didn’t have anyone over 40 years of age before their coming, but now I am gland that the scope of our church is growing, including people of different ages.

On January 30th we had a special conference in our church. We had four guest speakers: a Theologian, a Lawyer, A Social Work Professor and a Historian. We took the chance of speaking about children’ education and the problem of child abuse. We had about 65-70 people in the meeting and the event was also live Prodocens Media. I was very happy to see many new people attending. One of those who came is a mother whose child is attending the same school our son is going to. She received an invitation on Facebook and I was very happy to see her there. She said she liked a lot what we did and said also that she wants to attend other events that we will organize. Praise God for this!

I can see that the dynamic of our church is changing. We have new people coming almost every time. Praise God for everything! We are very encouraged about the way God is working in our church!

Another thing that I want to mention is that Stephen and his wife Andreea decided to remain in our church and to be involved in ministry. They joined us for two years and Stephen helped me in ministry every time he could. I believe he has a call to be an elder and we are praying for the next steps that we need to make in order to start working as a team. We did pray a lot about this and had deep discussions over different issues of ministry and our conclusion is that we have the same vision and the same heart for the Lord. The church appreciates them a lot too. So please pray for us and for this new opportunity that we have in Adonai church.
