Warm greetings in the Beloved, my dear brothers and sisters. Once again, it is my privilege to be able to share with you a few specific prayer needs from some of the pastors laboring across the vast continent of Africa.

  1. Pastor Malamulo Chindongo in Malawi asks for prayer for himself as Antioch Baptist Church grows, that he would be faithful to his flock in preaching, discipling, and shepherding. Mala also asks for prayer for the congregation he is pastoring, as they have begun to be more intentional in evangelism within their city of Blantyre. Pray that the Gospel might go forth in power with great and God-honoring results!
  2. Please pray for Pastor Brian Mutale in Monze, Zambia. Pastor Brian was recently elected Vice-Chairman of the newly-formed Monze Pastor’s Fellowship, an inter-denominational fellowship established to organize and coordinate events throughout the district in hopes that many might be able to hear the Gospel. Pray that each of the pastors in the fellowship would be marked by humility and service, that there would be no hint of bitterness or rivalry among them, and that God would be glorified and would use this fellowship to effectively spread His Gospel throughout Monze and beyond!
  3. Please pray for Pastor Dave Webster and his wife Pam in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Brother Dave is currently the pastor of Living Hope Baptist Church, but he will be transitioning out of that role over the next few months. Please be in prayer for Dave and Pam (who are in their 70’s, but still going strong) to know how the Lord would have them serve Him in this next phase of their lives. Brother Dave asks specifically to pray for “ongoing good/reasonable health, faithfulness, and service in whatever area God opens up to us.” Also pray for the other elders at LHBC and for Mr. Andrew Zekveld, who is coming to the church to step in as the primary preaching elder.
