Because HeartCry is a missionary society, we have neither the staff nor the resources to provide Biblical counseling to inquirers in need. We strongly believe that every person dealing with life and spiritual issues should consult the pastors and elders to whom God has entrusted them. If counsel is desired in addition to one’s local church pastor, we encourage you to contact the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

Because HeartCry is a missionary society, we have neither the staff nor the resources to discuss theological issues with the general inquirer. We first and foremost encourage every person confronted with a theological issue or question to devote a substantial amount of time studying the Scriptures and secondary resources. If you are a member of a Bible-believing local church, we would encourage you to speak with your pastor or pastors. HeartCry’s main calling is to come alongside and support indigenous (or native) missionaries in the various places and churches in which they are already working. While we do believe that cross-cultural missions is a necessary part of the Great Commission, HeartCry does not train or send cross-cultural missionaries, nor do we facilitate any short-term trips. However, if you believe that the Lord is calling you to cross-cultural missions, we strongly encourage you to meet with the leaders of your local church so that they might confirm and validate your calling and gifts and help determine where and how you should serve.
