Urbano Gomez serves as a church planter in Peru. He describes how he was trained for ministry: “Angel Colmenares from Piura was the one who discipled us. Twice a year we went to the city of Sullana to learn doctrine and how to do ministry. That lasted 10 years. Then we ourselves began to disciple other brothers in our area.” Urbano, along with his local church, seeks to be “obedient to the mandate to preach the gospel.” Urbano has been partnering with HeartCry since 2016, and he has been in ministry since 1998. He and his wife, Graciela, have been married since 1986, and they are blessed with five children.
