Nelson Almeida serves the Lord in Lisbon, Portugal as a pastor. He was saved out of a troubled childhood in an unbelieving family when he came to understand that “salvation did not depend on me and if He says He forgives me, His truth is eternal and I can trust Him.” Nelson received ministerial training through the Baptist Theological Seminary in Quelez, Lisbon. HeartCry-supported Missionary Mario Pina also contributed to his ministerial training and development. Nelson is now serving as a co-pastor of the Baptist Church in Arruda dos Vinhos. He has been partnering with HeartCry since 2025, and he and his wife have been married since 2024.
