Timor-Leste

Julio Marques serves the Lord in Timor-Leste. He was saved out of an animistic family who claimed to be catholic. In 2002, Julio was converted, and in 2006, he was baptized. He recalls his initial call to ministry: “As I grew in faith, I developed a love for helping the pastors, serving at the church, and going out to share the Gospel. I went to Indonesia for a bachelor’s degree, and after I had done this, I returned home to Timor-Leste to find a job.” Julio now serves the Lord with faithfulness, along with his wife, in Timor-Leste. He has been partnering with HeartCry since 2022.
