Peru

Ivan Tassara is a church planter serving the Lord by in the indigenous communities of the Peruvian jungle. He received his ministerial training through the Baptist Seminary of Sullana, as well as through other means including expository preaching workshops. His current ministry involves strengthening a church by training men in theology, evangelizing, and working to establish a pastor. Ivan has been partnering with HeartCry since 2011 – the same year he and his wife, Yamin, were married.
