Ayoade Olayide is a church planter at Ibadan Reformed Fellowship in Ibadan, Nigeria. Ibadan Fellowship, a church plant of Sovereign Grace Bible Church in Lagos, is under the leadership of HeartCry missionary Osinachi Nwoko. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry, Ayoade first worked in education as a Chemistry teacher; he later worked in pharmaceuticals. After answering the call to full time ministry, he pursued an MDiv at Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary and completed a pastoral internship at Sovereign Grace Bible Church. His current responsibilities include “reaching out to college students, evangelizing on the streets, teaching catechism, preaching, and one-on-one discipleship.” Ibadan is a religiously mixed metropolis where syncretism, false Christianity, Pentecostal movements, Islam, and numerous para-church groups dominate the landscape, leaving few biblical churches and widespread confusion about the true gospel. In this spiritual context, he hopes to see genuine biblical leadership rise in place of hirelings and the true gospel replace the prevailing counterfeits. Ayoade has been a partner with HeartCry since 2025.
