Greetings dear prayer partners! Once again we give testimony of our God’s grace, and of His wisdom, how He decided to do His will through the faithful prayers of His people. This last month has been a very unique month for us as church, as we celebrated the first year of service in Santiago. After 41 years in the city of Pontevedra, this is our first church planting. And this fact reveals both the joy of watching the advance of God’s kingdom, and our deficiency in this crucial matter. This work of the Lord among us is bringing a profound reflection on our need as a church. It shouldn’t happen after more than 40 years. It could happen, if it’s God’s will, but not because of some unique focus on Christ’s mission. The Lord is patient with us, and He is displaying His power among us, so that we may trust in Him and not doubt Him. We need to remember again that God “turned the world upside down” with His faithful servants in the past, and He can do it whenever He wants, even using men like us who preach the Gospel, which is the power of God unto salvation.

So please pray for us, specially for the elders of the church, as we take advantage of this blessing as we set the vision for our congregation, keeping clear on our calling as to be disciples of Christ, and to
make disciples of Christ. It’s what we are pursuing with our study on the first letter of Paul to Timothy. The church is the pillar and support of the truth. The church is in the world to promote and to proclaim the truth. The church is in the world to defend and to declare the truth. Thank you for your support!

And for such as a mission as what I have just described, the church needs godly pastors: good servants of Christ who point the brethren to the truth and away from falsehood. The church needs laborers who meet the prerequisites, and discipline themselves for the purpose of godliness. The church needs men who show themselves as an example of those who believe — men who preach the glorious gospel of the blessed God, and equip the saints for the same goal! May we pray fervently to the Lord of the harvest to raise up more laborers.
