As the largest landlocked country in the Southern Hemisphere, Bolivia enjoys a large geographical spread of climates and terrains. From the snow-capped heights of the Andes to the warm Amazonian valleys and the wetlands along the western border, Bolivia is a diverse geographical land. A large percentage of Bolivians live in urban areas such as three of the biggest cities; Santa Cruz de la Sierra, La Paz, and Sucre. Though a historically poor country, Bolivia has a productive economy driven by its wealth of natural resources. Religion in Bolivia is not suppressed, as the state guarantees freedom of religion. However, the country is largely and historically overrun by Catholicism, and syncretism is frequent. There is a great need for the gospel of Jesus Christ in the beautiful and diverse country of Bolivia.
