The majority of the population identify as Christian but are largely Orthodox. Inoculation against the true gospel by this nominal religion presents a great need. Though there is freedom of religion, pressure from the government and the community favors the Orthodox church and brings many difficulties for evangelical believers.

Pray for the church in Serbia: For pastor-elders who are biblically qualified (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9); for the members of the church to be “continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42).
