Estonia is a Northern European country of 1.3 million people situated between the Baltic Sea and Russia. Estonia is a developed country and allows for freedom of religion according to its constitution. However, amidst widespread secularism, even the nominally Christian demographics are somewhat bleak. The largest nominal Christian groups are Eastern Orthodox and Lutheran, and the overall Evangelical presence is only 4.7% (Joshua Project). This demonstrates that genuine biblical faith is rare. As with many countries in Europe, Estonia’s great need is for the light of Christ to break through the cold and hard soil to plant the seed of gospel truth.
