As the fifth-most populous country in the world with a population of over 244 million, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan boasts the second-largest Muslim population of any country. Karachi, the former capital of Pakistan, now serves as the economic center of the country and is one of the largest Muslim cities in the world. The land of Pakistan is situated in a strategic and significant location in between South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Although it is strategically located, Pakistan’s deep and dark Islamic roots present a hostile environment for the true gospel of Jesus Christ to be disseminated throughout the Middle East and southern portions of Asia.
