Testimony of Conversion
My name is called Zaw Kyaw, and I was born in 1994 in June. I have six siblings, two sisters and fours brothers. I grew up in a tiny mountainous village; I was raised in a Christian family. But I wasn’t saved, and I never knew Christ as my personal Savior. When I was fifteen years of age, I attended Salvation campaign for one week. Pastor James, who was also a missionary, was our speaker and preached that day about the sinfulness of man and how Christ died for our sins on the cross, and on that day I repented of my sins and put my faith upon Christ. I still remember what a joyful day it was for me, it was in March 2008.
I always prayed to become a man that God could use in the ministry. There are no other desires for me apart from serving the Lord. After I finished my high school, the Lord opened the door for me to be able to attend Bible College. Words could not express how joyful I was to participate in pursuing education. The Lord indeed used this institution to guide me. I loved to read about missions books from the library, and my heart was breaking. I desired to become a Pastor in a small church if it is God’s will. But later on, I realize that it wasn’t God’s will for me to become a pastor. Through my leaders and His words, I knew that the Lord wanted me to be an Evangelist for soul winning and helping churches in the area of church growth. After finishing four years of studying, I am now serving the Lord as an Evangelist in a township. I go out doing evangelism and Bible study every day, and I wholeheartedly believe that the Lord will bless the ministry that he has entrusted to me.
