My name is Patricia Nyanda. I am married to Kondwani Nyanda and we have three children at the moment.  I grew up in a Christian home. My mother was a dedicated member of a Presbyterian church in Lilongwe. My father, on the other hand, was not a good example. When my parents died, I lived with my brother and his wife.

In 2005, while visiting my aunt in Blantyre, I went to attend a prayer meeting. It was there that I heard for the first time the gospel being preached. The preacher read John 5:1-15 – the story of the man healed at the pool of Bethesda. The Lord used that to call me to Himself. I went home and saw myself to be in need of a Savior, one who would heal my spiritual sickness. I cried and repented of my sins to Him. He saved me and I have been walking with Him ever since.
