Patience is the second born daughter in a family of five. She was raised in a church-going family. She faithfully attended church services and activities as her parents instructed her. She got ‘baptized’ and participated in the ‘Holy Communion.’ However, she was not yet saved and all these good works didn’t change her. She walked in sin.

But she began to see herself as a sinner in need of the Savior, and on 31 December she received Christ at the church’s youth conference. The preacher preached that Jesus died for sinners so that they could be reconciled with God and save them from the wrath of God. She repented of her sins that day. That day she had peace with God. From that time, her life has not been the same. Jesus Christ gave her new life. The old life had gone.
