Testimony of Conversion and Call to Ministry
I was born into a normal Christian Family. I used to go to church and Sunday school classes faithfully. My parents were divorced when I was young, and I have been with my mother. After I finished high school, my mom encouraged me to join a Bible College, and I obeyed. In the first month, the College conducted a salvation crusade for students, and I came to know the doctrine of sin and the doctrine of salvation. I came to see that Jesus Christ worked for my salvation. I did not have anything to do but trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ for my salvation. And I completely accepted the gospel and had assurance of salvation in my inner life.
I continued my Bible College studies for years and finished my B.Th degree course. Then I did further Theological studies at seminary, where I completed my M.Div and M.Th degree. God was gracious to me and trained at those three good Theological Seminaries.
When I finished my B.Th degree, I had a big burden for my Aso people group who did not have literacy and literature. I wish we Aso people had the written word of God in our own language. I started working on literacy by myself, but without an expert mentor, it was like wasting time. But the Lord led me to meet with Bibles International personnel. The Lord burdened me to start a Bible Believing Church and association within the Aso believers. I have been in the ministry: of church planting movement, soul-winning outreach, literature work, and bible translation work for years.
