Testimony of Conversion
My name is Htoo Aung Kyaw. I live in a village and am the pastor of Redeemer Bible Baptist Church. I still have Mom and Dad, who are serving the lord as missionaries. I have one sister and four brothers. I grew up from Christian family. As I was born from Christian family I though that I was already saved. I attended Sunday school regularly and obeyed my parent from my childhood. I thought that I was good enough and will go to heaven when I died. But in reality my good work and being good enough did not save me. I got saved when I was 12 years old by the teaching of my Sunday school teacher. She taught me about the death, buried and resurrection of Jesus Christ and had forgiven all of my sins. At that time I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior and Lord.
After completing my ten standards (10th grade) I came to know the call of God, it was to study the word of God in Biblical School of Theology. Then I studied and finished well by the grace of God. And every year of summer vocation during my Bible schooling life time I did not go back home because we have group (Soldiers of Jesus Christ) and went out town by town and village by village to share the Gospel message to people. By involving in the ministry of God I came to know the call of God to be pastor.
While sharing tracts and having personal evangelism, God showed me one place where people were very hungry for the word of God. Then I started sharing the word of God, we could have every Sunday worship service in that place. Within two years, God provided us a land and church building. Now I am leading in that church as a pastor. My church members are very strong in faith, hunger for the word of God and lovely and also very kind to me.
Note: For security reasons a pen name is used for this missionary.
