Testimony of Conversion and Call to Ministry

My name is Fischer A. I have been working as a missionary for three years. My conversion happened during a church service. I prayed to God to save my life, forgive my sins and make me his son. I had been hearing indistinctly about God for some time, but it wasn’t until I was sixteen that I was exposed to the gospel more clearly, but I didn’t respond to it. Like anyone else, I believed in God, but I didn’t see much of a problem with my sin because I wasn’t fully aware. But in the holidays of 1999, after having visited the church several times, at the invitation of some fishermen and friends of my dad, I called on the Lord for salvation, and he did it. God saved me, and what I can explain after that is that my life began to look different. I began immediately to reject sin and to desire to know God through reading the Scriptures. I never liked reading or much study, but desiring to know God changed everything. Relationships with my parents that had been pretty broken began to fall back into place, and the desire to serve Him was a new chapter in my life, breaking through all my human expectations. A year after believing in the Lord, I was baptized, and two days later, I entered Active Military Service, where I remained for two years.

At that time, I began to write to be interviewed as an applicant to a seminary. After two years of military service, my desire to serve God increased, and a year later, I entered theological studies at a seminary. Although I did not have a clear vocation then, and the only mode of study was pastoral ministry, I began the preparation. For a year after leaving the Military Service, I worked in various church missions, which continued in various fields where I received confirmation from God for pastoral ministry. After my studies, I married and went to work in a small church. After five years, we went to pastor a church until I was removed from the pulpit for assuming the doctrines of the reformation. Now, as if I had experienced a new conversion, I serve God in planting a new church in another town.
