Samuel Kasonde is the pastor of Mapalo Baptist Church in Kabwe, Zambia. Samuel received his ministerial training through the Baptist Bible College of Zambia, through a pastoral internship at Kabwata Baptist Church, and through his studies at Copperbelt Christ Ministerial College. Samuel describes his local church as “a vibrant, missions-minded church” that is “composed of a balanced grouping of children, youth, men, and women. Samuel has been partnering with HeartCry since 2017. He and his wife, Annie, have been married since 2005, and they live with their children in Kabwe.
