Ross Odnokon serves as lead pastor of Redeemer Baptist Church in Kelowna, British Columbia, a church he planted in May of 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Religious Education from Peace River Bible Institute and a master’s in divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Between and around studies, Ross worked as a journeyman carpenter—skills God still uses in various seasons. His current responsibilities include preaching, counseling, shaping Christ-centered liturgy, meeting with elders and deacons, and taking members to the streets for evangelism. He also serves two mornings a week as Principal of Redeemer Classical Academy—leading chapel, teaching Latin and history, and assisting with administrative tasks. His prayer for the church is “that our God may make us worthy of his calling and fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power” (2 Thess. 1:11). Ross has been a partner with HeartCry since 2025. He has been married to his wife, Kara, since 2011.
