Jose Jimenez is the pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Ecuador. He received his ministerial training through three years at a pastoral boarding school, and through instruction in “systematic, historical, exegetical, and practical theology.” Jose’s current ministry involves “planting a confessional Reformed Baptist church,” which includes “expository preaching of the Word.” Jose was commissioned as a church planter and began partnering with HeartCry in 2023. He and his wife, Elena, have been married since 2019.
