Javier Jurado is a church planter and the pastor of Berea Iglesia Bíblica Evangélica in Torrelavega, Spain. He received his ministerial training from Berea Seminary. Javier has been involved in ministry since 2003. He has served as copastor, youth pastor, and lead pastor over the years. His desire to see God’s Word proclaimed accurately and zealously is what propelled him to enter the ministry – this desire drives his current ministry as well. As he seeks to minister to an ethnically diverse congregation in a spiritually shallow region, he states, “Our personal and congregational prayers are directed to the great need of workers who [hold to the conviction of] the centrality of the Word.” He and his wife, Marta, have been married since 2008, and they have two children.
